I have many past and present projects. This site will only talk about my programming and website projects.
Website Projects

The Ultimate Animanga Archive

This is an anime and manga archive. It contains mostly images, but there are also some songs and movie clips. Many of the features series have an information page, which gives a short description of the series. It's a rather popular site, receiving over a million pageloads per month.

The Animanga Community

AC is a sister site to Ultimate Animanga which tries to complement UA with anime/manga related news, discussions bords and such things. It should soon receive a rather drastic face lift - keeps your eyes open.

Misplaced Optimism

This website is a fan website for the game Hardwar. The only game I can compare Hardwar with is Elite, although it's not a very good comparision. Check the site for more information about the game.

Eon Games

Eon Games is my game development side business. There are currently three titles available, with several upcoming titles.

Eligo

This is a collection of puzzle games. Originally a Lines clone, it now has 8 different gaming modes. It has everything from original Lines, to challenging tournament and progressively harder games. Currently available for the Sharp Zaurus.

Strategic Assault

This is a fast paced real-time strategy game for the Sharp Zaurus. Construct bases and capture strategic buildings. Lead your army to victory commanding tanks, helicopters, gunboats, and many other military units in battle against a vicious enemy.

SDLRoids

SDLRoids is a port to SDL of a game called xhyperoid (which itself is a UNIX port of a Windows game called Hyperoid). It's an enhanced astroids clone. Someone said it had a feel similar to Maelstrom. I have personally ported it to SDL, optimized it and added some features. I plan to do additional coding of course, where removing the fixed 20 frames-per-second limit is a big issue. Although not technically an Eon Games production (it existed before Eon Games), I opted to collect all my games in one place.

Software Projects

Caudium

Caudium is a webserver originally based on Roxen 1.3, but heavily developed since then. We are trying to make a webserver the right way from an open source perspective. Please check out our website for further information. Sub-projects in Caudium is PiXSL - XSLT support and UltraLog, a http log parser.

Slashdot Reader

A small Pike GTK hack to view Slashdot headlines and read comments without using a browser.

SDLmm

SDLmm is a C++ wrapper for the SDL library. The development has stalled and the project will likely be cancelled / merged with anohter C++ wrapper (avoiding duplicate efforts).

dumpmpeg

A small program that allows you to save frames from MPEG movies to disk.

Other Software

These are projects that I'm not considering mine, but that I have contributed more or less to. I'm an active user of both these projects and use them a lot for the projects above.

SDL

Simple DirectMedia Layer is a cross-platform multimedia library designed to provide fast access to the graphics framebuffer and audio device, as well as input devices like mice and joysticks. I'm not a major developer of SDL, but I have made a bunch of patches for BeOS. It's a nice library - check it out.

Past Projects

Old projects that I'm not longer actively working. They are worth mentioning but probably have little real value to anyone, including me.

XTracker

XTracker is a Amiga module player for Sun SPARC and X-Windows, written by me and my brother. Nowadays there are many much better programs out there to play mods on Unix. This is a very dead project. :)

Stellar Crisis

Stellar Crisis is a fun WWW based space game written by Sylvan Clebsch. I have spent some time improving the game, and have now released an enhanced version.

NannyMUD

I was once a very active wizard at NannyMUD, one of the oldest LPMUDs around. During my time as a highwizard I contributed a lot. Due to a number of reasons, mainly time constraints and lack of time and interest, I stopped the LPMUD programming. However I'm often logged on, idling. If you ever go there, tell me (Slater) hello. :)

Guestpoint

Guestpoint was an attempt to create a guestbook and counter site. it was live for many years but due to lack of time from my part, it never really took of. The site is now shut down.

Well, that's all there is to read about me right now. Planned additions include, among other things, an introduction to my family. So long and thanks for all the fish.
