On this page I will add less known facts and trivia about Hardwar. All
information currently on this page was given to me by the Hardwar Test
Supervisor, Steve Lycett (also known as Sol @ Gremlin). Enjoy!
Singing Testers
- If you play the last track on Disk 2 with either a CD Player or
the Windows CD player, you can hear three people 'singing' along to
the end credits. No names were mentioned, but, they were the Test
Supervisor (where have you read that before on this page? :-), Lead
Tester and the guy who added all the info to the game
map on this site.
Tolkien Blasphemy?
- This might upset any Tolkien fans out there. Try entering your
name as 'Gandalf'. This came about after Ian Martin had been playing
Quake 2 on the web, and joined a game full of Lord of the Rings
fans. When he used a distinctly un-tolkien like greeting, Bilbo,
Gandalf and the rest asked him rather un-politely to leave. So that is
Ians revenge.
Initialising World...
- Try holding down Left CTRL on the 'Initialising World' screen to
see what the loading screen used to say!.
